Description

A plaque on a rock at Mississippi River Boulevard at Pelham reads "In loving memory of Edward Leete 1928-1992 An Englishman who ran in the midday sun along these banks and who took joy in the discovery of life as a chemist and father." (Saint Paul Parks Department Memorial notebook) Leete taught chemistry at the University for 30 years and often ran along the river with graduate students over lunch-breaks.
